Miller South Dakota

The Fountain City

In the Glacial Lakes & Prairies Region, Miller lies west of Huron at the junction of US 14 and Hwy 45 in Hand County (of which it is the county seat).

It offers the Miller City swimming pool, featuring a 141' water slide. Nearby are lighted tennis and basketball courts. Miller also boasts one of South Dakota's finest lighted baseball softball complexes that has been the home to many regional and state tournaments. Other facilities in Miller include: Coral Lanes Bowling Center and Midway Drive-In Theatre.

Miller's Crystal Park offers free camping with electrical hookups, picnic facilities, and playground; the lighted fountains offer a spectacular view at night.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,655, a decrease of 23 since 1990.
