The Granary Memorial Gallery of Groton features rotating fine art displays including paintings, sculptures, and pictures along with fine art showings and special events throughout the summer.
A member of the Association of South Dakota Museums, The Granary Memorial Gallery is maintained by local authority and is open seasonal from Memorial Day - Labor Day.
The Granary is a unique and hospitable gathering place for people to celebrate the culture and art of the Northern Plains. It is not a museum, but a living facility where activities enrich the lives of people in our region. Two features are the Granary Memorial Gallery, a 1928 wooden granary converted to five quality art exhibit rooms, and Putney Hall, a restored 1912 town hall with a dance floor and a meeting area.
