Founded in 1885, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology is a public university offering undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering, science, and math. There are four undergraduate schools. The 118-acre campus is in a suburban area 350 miles northeast of Denver Colorado. Including residence halls there are 18 buildings.
Fraternities, sororities and over 20 clubs and organizations are on campus. Tours of the campus are available.
