This park is located just outside the gates of the themed attraction, 'Storybookland,' one mile north of
Aberdeen. The park's over 200 acres of grassland make a perfect setting for an on-site zoo, featuring an outstanding variety of wildlife in addition to a great variety of other recreational opportunities including camping, picnicking and playground facilities, miniature golf, a swimming beach, and miles of hiking trails throughout.
The park includes Wylie Lake, a stocked fishing lake where youngsters have an opportunity to sharpen their fishing skills; other ways to cool off on the water are paddleboat and canoe rentals or a ride down the waterslide at Wylie Water World. Admission to the park is free, however individual attractions charge separate rates.
