City Convenience, Country Charm |
Allan is an active living community with a tradition of pride and prosperity. The town provides residents with a perfect combination of "urban nearness" and the serenity of a rural life. The first people to come as a group (nine families) settled in 1903. By late 1907, the railroad came through Saskatoon and trains began regular service in 1908. The railway company built a Station and established the townsite of Allan.
