A community effort since its inception in 1967, the golf club has depended through the years on the volunteer efforts of local golfing enthusiasts. Its fairways are lush and rolling with some challenging elevation changes. Loose scatterings of trees define many of the fairways but, for the most part, Moosomin plays fairly open. Moosomin's greens are small, making them difficult targets. The absence of bunkers on the approaches should help novice golfers.
