This is a golf course with many hidden challenges - many that only become apparent after you've experienced them - and the inattentive can easily be stung. One of the first misperceptions the golfer must overcome is that the course is not as flat as it appears. In fact, most of its holes possess subtle uphill or downhill slopes which can easily add or subtract yards from your drives (causing to overshoot or undershoot your targets). Another common misperception is that the course is open. True, there aren't many trees in play, but many of the holes are lined with hedges which come into play far more often than a golfer might wish. Consider par here a very good score.
