Silver Lake Golf Course

This 9 hole course (part of the regional park of the same name) is of intermediate level and possesses a distinctive character. Its most striking feature is a quaint swinging bridge which transports you across a small creek separating the 3rd hole's tee from its fairway. The fairways at Silver Lake are slightly rolling in nature and accented by scenic clusters of trees and shrubs. The course is home to a wide variety of migrating birds throughout the summer months. If you are at all prone to bird watching, they can offer a pleasant distraction from the game at hand. Silver Lake's greens (grass since 1985) range from small to moderate in size and are generally easy to read.
