The restaurant is owned and run by shellfish farmers who grow mussels, scallops and oysters in the clear, unpolluted sealochs of the West Coast of Scotland. Shellfish feed naturally by filtering plankton from the sea and no chemicals or additives are used to influence growth. They are, in effect, a truly natural 'green' food. Their shellfish is sold in many of the top restaurants in the UK, where its quality has long been recognised. It was this appreciation that led them to open their own restaurant, specialising in the products they know and love so well. Great care is taken in the growing, harvesting and transportation of their shellfish which means the quality and freshness of the seafood sold in the restaurant is personally guaranteed by us. Since they opened the Mussel Inn, their customers have been doing their best to account for the other 20% ! Opening Hours Monday - Friday 12 noon - 3pm , 6pm - 10pm Saturday 12 noon - 10pm Sunday
