Middle Tennessee State University

Founded in 1911, this is a public institution offering programs in liberal arts, agriculture and technical studies, aviation, business, health science, professional training, teacher preparation and mass communications. There are 5 undergraduate and 1 graduate school. The 500 acre campus is in a suburban area 32 miles southeast of Nashville. Including residence halls, there are 89 buildings.
