The Cedar Place, makes handmade lawn, garden and home furniture of genuine Tennessee Red Cedar such as: Adirondack chairs, swings, garden benches, picnic tables, dog houses, cedar chests, and bedroom furniture. Outside items are either an oil finish which weathers to a nice silvery gray, or a clear marine varnish that brings out all the beautiful color of the wood. Inside items are lacquered for a smooth furniture finish. Red cedar is very resistant to the weather and also has a pleasant aromatic smell.
