Oaklands Historic House Museum |
Located on North Maney Avenue, this is a restored Italianate style plantation house built in 1815; furnishings are of periods prior to 1865. The plantation was occupied alternately by Union and Confederate forces during the Civil War and was the site of the surrender of Murfreesboro.
Open Tuesday through Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 1pm-4pm; closed major holidays.
