Once the home of William Giles Harding, this 1853 mansion has been restored to its elegance of the Victorian era. The plantation site also includes a 1890 carriage house and stable displaying antique carriages, 1790 log cabin, one of the oldest houses in Tennessee, and seven other original outbuildings. Tour guides in period costume tell the story of the plantation. Andrew Jackson rode mounts that were raised at Belle Meade.
