The 10,700-acre Tims Ford Lake is regarded as one of the top bass fishing and recreational lakes in the Southeast. Year round fishing at Tims Ford provides a substantial yield of bluegill, small and largemouth bass, catfish and crappie.
The park has 50 campsites with tables, grills and electrical and water hookups. In addition, there are 20 cabins situated on the slopes of the Lake.
