Upper Room Chapel and Museum

Located on Grand Avenue, this museum is in the Upper Room Building where the devotional booklet by that name is published. The chapel is of Georgian design. The chancelis is an adaptation of the upper room of Leonardo da Vinci's 'Last Supper' with a ceiling of heavy timbers and fine tapestries on the side walls. The chancel wall features Ernest Pellegrini's woodcarving of that Da Vinci painting.The museum offers permanent displays of religious paintings dating from 1300 to the present. Open Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm; closed major holidays.
