The multi-purpose facility, which openeded in May of 1993, an seat up to 65,000 and is expandable to 72,000 plus seats, depending on the event held. The rectangular shape and 12,555 retractable seats allow for 24 different set-up possibilities, giving the dome to host a variety of events. Some of the events held include concerts, sporting events, trade shows and conventions.
