Located 2.5 miles west has one of the foremost collections of American art in the country. In addition to works by such Western artists as Frederic Remington and Charles Russell, the museum also has major paintings, sculpture, photographs and graphic from the 19th century to the present. A library specializing in American art, history and photography is open by appointment. Tours are available.
