Bonham is located in
Fannin County (of which it is the county seat) northeast of
Dallas between
Sherman and
Paris along US 82 near the
Red River and
Lake Texoma.
Situated just south of the Oklahoma state line, the population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 7,306, an increase of 618 since 1990.
