Clifton Steamboat Museum

Exhibits represent the Battle of San Jacinto, the Republic of Texas and statehood, the Civil War in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana, the Steamboat Era, and U.S. wars of the 20th century. Features include the tugboat Hercules. There is also a gift shop, an art gallery and a restaurant.
