Fredda Turner Durham Children's Museum

Exhibits provide children and families with an interactive environment for exploration and investigation. Exhibits for children 4-12; computer area; pre-school play area. "My Town" is an engaging child-sized city that has everything including the kitchen sink! Children can explore and role-play in any of the 11 different areas of the city the Bank, Grocery Store, Health Clinic, Victorian House, Grandmas Attic, T V Station, Magic Shop, Construction Site, Restaurant, Newsstand, and Post Box. They pride and joy is the 200-gallon saltwater aquarium, which features beautiful and exotic fish from around the world in a coral reef environment. Children under 12 must be accompanied by adult.
