Located 9 miles northwest on SR 199/Jacksboro Hwy., 2 miles north of Lake Worth Bridge. Hiking and nature trials make the interoir of this 3,500-acre preserve accessible. Animals frequently seen include buffaloes, white-tailed deer, coyotes, turkeys,egrets and herons. A praire-dog town offers opportunities to see these animals in their natural habitat.
