Hancock Park

Comments: I've never been to a spring in Texas so clogged with algea and slime! I had to PAY $3 for adults, $2 per child and had to watch my own children in the pool. Tthe lifeguard was on her cell phone for and hour and a half and when she was not on the phone she was chatting with her friend and never even watched the shallow end of the pool where the children where slipping and sliding from the algea. NO RESTROOMS are provided, (which would explain the algea growth from kids urinating in the pool). The park has no restrooms. I was told by the lifeguard to sneek into the private golf course a block away and use their restrooms. I will NEVER go to the pool again. In the park, the trees are beautiful but NO RESTROOMS are provided. Barton Springs in Austin does not have an algea problem, Salado Springs in Salado (on Interstate I-35) does not have any algea either. The pool at Hancock Park is not taken care care, nor are the visitors to Hancock park. Not even a portable toilet was there!
