Historic Ditch Walk

The Menard Irrigation Canal is locally referred to as 'the ditch,' first dug in 1756 by Spanish missionaries, and still used today with modifications to supply water to irrigation company members. A walk along the canal affords sightseeing and shopping opportunities downtown.
