This museum contains exhibits about astronomy, anthropology, geology, paleontology and natural history and a butterfly center. Displays containing American Indian artifacts and a hall of gems and minerals are featured. Wortham IMAX theatre shows natural science films on a six-story, 80-foot-wide screen. Burke Baker Planetarium offers daily presentations, including constellation identification, children's features and laser light shows. Reservations are recommended for the IMAX theater.
