Lipantitlan State Historical Park |
This small park on five acres east of Orange Grove in Nueces County is near an Aztec-named adobe fort that was constructed in 1833 by the Mexican government. It fell to Texas settlers after a two-day battle in 1835. The park offers picnicking, historical study, and nature study. The only facilities are six picnic sites.
