Mesquite Championship Rodeo

6.5 miles east off I-30 to I-635 south 2.2 miles to Military Pkwy. exit 4, then s. This rodeo is held in the 6,500-seat Mesquite Arena. Cowboys compete in bull and bronco riding and steer and calf roping. A band, rodeo clowns and square dancing on horseback, as well as a petting zoo and pony rides also are featured.
