UTSA is a comprehensive public university with 52 bachelors, 36 masters and three doctoral degree programs. More than 50 percent of UTSAs students come from groups underrepresented in higher education and more than 42 percent are Hispanic. UTSA is ranked fifth among all US universities in the number of bachelors degrees granted to Hispanic students.
