Bahia Vista is on the site of one of Arkansas Bay's earliest settlements. It is a unique RV park and camping area with sun decks, walkways, swimming pool, picnic tables, and recreation room with fireplace. Bahia Vista hosts a number of facilities with trailerable sail boats as well as serious fishing during the year. It also has furnished bungalows, complete with kitchenette, providing all the conveniences of a motel. Fishing, crabbing, wave watching, and boating are the popular activities found there. Bird enthusiasts can enjoy spotting hundreds of varieties all year from hummers to whoopers.
