The Oak Hurst Golf Course and Peach Tree Golf Course are right next to each other off Highway 69 between Tyler and Jacksonville. Both Golf Courses offer novice and experienced golfers different challenges. The Peach Tree Golf Course, which opened in 1984, is an executive length, beginner friendly course favored by seniors, juniors, and those that are new to the game of golf. This shorter, more open links style golf course makes scoring much easier. The Oak Hurst golf course has larger, contoured greens with water coming into play on 11 of the 18 holes. The majority of the holes were built through the tall East Texas pines and hard wood trees.
