Bountiful Ridge Golf Course is located 5 miles north of Salt Lake City and was built in 1975. It has 18 holes and a par of 71/72. The course's season is from March through November with a high season in April to September. The green fees a quite affordable. Rent-able golf carts and clubs are available to golfers. To reserve a tee time call a day before for weekdays and the Thursday prior for weekends and holidays.

Malad Valley Welsh Festival Malad City ID June28-July1 Today, Malad Valley has the largest per capita concentration of people of Welsh ancestry outside the country of Wales itself. For that reason, many residents of the Valley wanted to reestablish their Welsh roots. In 2005, after a 90 year break, this annual cultural event, now called the Malad Valley Welsh Festival, once again became a reality.
