This is considered to be Utah's most spectacular state park; Dead Horse Point towers 2,000 feet above the
Colorado River and provides a breathtaking view of the Canyon lands pinnacles and buttes. Park facilities include a visitor center, interpretive museum, modern bathrooms, campground, disposal station, group camping area, picnic area, group-use pavilion, and large overlook shelter. The 5,362-acre park is open year-round, and is located 18 miles off Hwy 191 near Moab. Water is limited within the park, and visitors are advised to fill the water tanks on recreational vehicles before visiting.
Camping fees are $14 with electrical hookups and reservations are accepted March 1st through October 31st.
