Founded in 1894 to gather records and then dedicated on October 23 1985.Over 2.2 million rolls of microfilmed genealogical records, 300,000 books, and a collection of 742,000 microfiche, serials and other format, and 4500 periodicals. The library is visited by an estimated 2,000 patrons or more each day. There is no charge to visit.
