Fremont Indian State Park |
This 889-acre park was established to preserve the unique Indian petroglyph's and archaeological sites of the Clear Creek Canyon. A visitor center features a museum and video program on the Fremont Indians that lived in this area. The park includes twelve interpretive trails, one wheelchair accessible, as well as camping and picnicking facilities. Other recreation includes fishing and horseback riding. The park is open year-round, and is located 21 miles southwest of Richfield on I70. Biking and off-road vehicle trails can be found nearby the park.
