The museum is located on approximately 50 acres on the northwest corner of Hill Air Force Base by Roy, Utah (approximately five miles south of Ogden). The museum first opened in temporary quarters in 1986 and moved to its current 50,000 square-foot facility in 1991. Currently the Museum houses 64 total displayed aircraft outside on the grounds and inside the Maj Gen Rex Hadley and Lindquist-Stewart Fighter Galleries. The Hill Aerospace Museum collection currently includes a wide variety of military aircraft and missiles, assorted munitions and weapons, ground vehicles associated with aircraft/missiles, and thousands of other historical artifacts. The A gate pass onto Hill AFB is not required to visit the museum. Simply take Exit 341 off Interstate 15 in Roy, Utah, and enter the museum grounds through the gate.

02/21 Coming to The Hill AFB area Malad Valley Welsh Festival Malad City ID June28-July1 Today, Malad Valley has the largest per capita concentration of people of Welsh ancestry outside the country of Wales itself. For that reason, many residents of the Valley wanted to reestablish their Welsh roots. In 2005, after a 90 year break, this annual cultural event, now called the Malad Valley Welsh Festival, once again became a reality.
