Visitors to this 11-acre state park can experience the development of
Iron County in the 1850s, when Brigham Young sent Mormon missionaries to the area to mine iron. A museum exhibits displays that include horse-drawn vehicles used from 1850-1920, and a collection of Indian and pioneer relics; the museum is in Cedar City. There is an on-site visitor center as well as a picnic area. Other facilities include modern bathrooms; hiking, biking, and off-road vehicle trails are located nearby. The park is for day use only; open year-round.
