Mountain Dell Golf Club, located in Salt Lake City, was opened in 1962. It has reasonable green fees. Carts and clubs may be rented by the golfers and there is also a practice range. The club's season runs from April to November with a high season running from June to August. The club offers two different courses, the Canyon Course and the Lake Course. The par for 18 holes on the Canyon course is 72/73. The par on the Lake Course for 18 holes is 71. If you would like to reserve a tee time you must call the golf shop.

Malad Valley Welsh Festival Malad City ID June28-July1 Today, Malad Valley has the largest per capita concentration of people of Welsh ancestry outside the country of Wales itself. For that reason, many residents of the Valley wanted to reestablish their Welsh roots. In 2005, after a 90 year break, this annual cultural event, now called the Malad Valley Welsh Festival, once again became a reality.
