Cache County Bookmobile Library

Cache County Bookmobile Library, serving an area of 16,100 residents, has a collection of 24,000 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 520 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 540 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.

Staffing consists of 3 employees, including one fully accredited librarian, plus volunteers. The system comprisesone branch library, plus one bookmobile. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $17,600. Patrons make 15,400 visits annually, and check out materials 96,000 times. Thirty-seven percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
