Juab County Bookmobile Library, serving an area of 3,500 residents, has a collection of 21,000 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 690 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 100 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes.
Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $3,700. Patrons make 69,000 visits annually, and check out materials 33,000 times. Thirty percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
