Sanpete County Bookmobile Library, serving an area of 8,800 residents, has a collection of 34,000 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 84 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as . Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.
Staffing consists of one employee, including one fully accredited librarian, plus volunteers. The system comprises of one branch library, plus one bookmobile. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $12,600. Patrons make 54,000 visits annually, and check out materials 100,000 times. Seventy-five percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
