Park City Mountain Resort |
This resort recently completed $11 million in improvements that include food options, new buildings and new rental and demo facilities. Selected as the host for the giant slalom and snowboarding events during the 2002 Winter Olympics games; visitors can check out the trails by foot or bike. The resort currently hosts National Cup and championship races. A total of 100 trails that encompass 475 acres are available, as well as 3,300 acres of terrain that includes 750 acres of bowls. Lifts include four six-passenger high speed lifts, one high speed quad, five triples and four doubles. The new base area lodge features a state-of-the-art rental shop and restaurant with excellent dining views of the mountain, a new ski-in/ski-out demo center at the top of the Bonanza lift, and a ski instruction school. Other attractions include an Alpine Slide and the Little Miner's Park. Cyclists will enjoy the 17 miles of mountain biking trails. Open daily and nightly.
