Solitude has 3 bowls, over 60 trails, and a vertical drop of 2047 feet. The annual snowfall is over 12 meters. The resort is only 28 miles from Salt Lake City.

The Village at Solitude Mountain offers exquisite dining, comfortable and plush furnishings in ski in/ski out accommodations with first-class amenities and service. This master-planned community is the only development allowed in Big Cottonwood Canyon, and is intended to preserve the character of this special place as carefully as possible.

Advanced skiers may be interested in Solitude Mountain's "Back Tracks" program, which offers backcountry guided tours.

The fun and excitement at Solitude doesn't end when the snow melts; it just takes on a new flavor. With 20 miles of lift-served trails for mountain biking and hiking, and a disc golf course, Solitude is an excellent destination in the summer as well.
