Tremonton is located in
Box Elder County in north central Utah near
Logan.It lies in the Bear River Valley, just west of the Bear River, along I-15, and about seven miles south of the confluence of the Malad and Bear rivers.
Largely residential, the population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 5,116, an increase of 854 since 1990.
