Logan

Logan is the seat of Cache County in northern Utah on US 91 north ofBrigham City, and is home to Utah State University. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 40,272, an increase of 7,501 since 1990.

Trappers once cached their furs for safekeeping near Logan, which was settled in 1859. It is situated in the Wasatch Range, about 30 miles northeast of the Great Salt Lake.
