The Consular Section at the American Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan opened for non-immigrant visa services on June 7, 1993. The Consular Section currently offers the full range of consular services, with the exception of immigrant and refugee processing, which continue to be done only at the American Embassy in Moscow.
