Located within the historic Fairfax Elementary School, in addition to housing a visitor center, the 1873 building contains changing exhibits that describe local history. The Museum and Visitor Center strives to be a regional leader in educating the public about local and regional history, provides travel and visitor information to tourists and area residents, and serves as the City's focal point for heritage tourism initiatives.
