Mason Neck State Park is a 1,814 acre day use park offering hiking trails, beachcombing, birdwatching and fishing. The state park is part of the Mason Neck Cooperative Management Area, a beautiful woodland with several miles of sandy beaches. There are several trails within the park through both woodland and marsh with scenic overlooks atop the many bluffs. Picnic tables are availalble, but no shelters. Picnicking areas include drinking water, grills, restroom facilities, picnic tables and a playground.
