Riddick's Folly, Inc.

Built in 1837 by Mills Riddick, a prominent businessman, Riddick's Folly is a high style Greek Revival townhouse mansion and is listed with the Virginia Landmarks Commission and the National Register of Historic places. The museum includes restored period rooms, changing exhibit galleries and permanent exhibits in honor of Governor Mills. E. Goodwin, Jr. and Suffolk's peanut industry. Riddick's folly offers many special programs such as historic craft demonstrations, living history programming and American Girl Events which highlight the 19th Century. Group tours can be arranged to include special hands-on activities for children.
