Richmond Kickers Soccer

The Richmond Kickers are a professional A-League franchise and a developmental team of DC United and the Tampa Bay Mutiny of Major League Soccer. The University of Richmond City Stadium, conveniently located between the campus and downtown Richmond, features seating for 22,611, a new natural grass playing field and electronic scoreboard with message center. The stadium contains spacious locker rooms with wall-to-wall carpeting, a training area, and two-level press box. In addition to the Spider football team, University of Richmond Stadium also hosts the Virginia High School Football Championships and was the site of the 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 NCAA Men's Soccer Championships.
