Here in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this farm has been raising llamas since 1987 where most of the herd of over fifty llamas have been born. The babies range from light to heavy wool and most are exceptionally large, but some can be petite as well. The farm does everything they can to raise llamas who are a pleasure to be around. As soon as the babies hit the ground they are desensitized and taught to trust people. They are halter and lead trained as soon as possible and most are also trained with the Clicker. The closest city to Shangrila Farm is Roanoke, VA., and the closest town is Rocky Mount, VA.
