Coral Bay Virgin Islands

This laid-back community at the dry, eastern end of St John is named for its shape rather than for its underwater life.

The word `coral` comes from `krawl`, Danish for coral. It's a quiet, local and quite small settlement, a place to get away from it all. Many roads on this side of the island are rough, narrow and dirt so jeeps are suggested as choice of rentals.

The main road thru Coral Bay is Centerline Road, also known as Route 10.
